Fee structure

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multidisciplinary university with an emphasis on engineering, and incorporating disciplines in science, arts, economics, management, and education. Up until now, ZUST has successfully established cooperative relationships with 76 universities in Germany, USA, Italy, UK, Australia, France, Japan, Korea, Holland, Belgium, Romania, etc. 

Campus

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology has two campuses. Xiaoheshan Campus is located in the historical and cultural city Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province. It has a tranquil lake on its campus and is surrounded by rolling hills. Anji campus is situated in Anji county, which won the United Nation Habitat Scroll of Honor Award.

Facilities

ZUST provides international students with an ecological environment with well-equipped facilities for studying, scientific research, living, exercising and entertainment.

The purpose of this major is to train high-level application-oriented senior engineering technicians, who can grasp the fundamental theories, knowledge, and skills in relevant branches of civil engineering design, construction, research, and management.

 

Training Target

During the 4-years’ study, the graduates of this major receive basic training for being registered engineers and reached the requirements to be a trainee civil engineer.

Introduction to Civil Engineering, Engineering Drawing & Computer Aided Drawing, Theoretical Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Civil Engineering Materials, Building Architecture, Principal Theory of Steel Structure, Foundation Engineering, Civil Engineering Construction, Masonry Structures, Design of Building Steel Structures, Civil Engineering Budget Estimate, High-building Structures and Earthquake Resistance, Appraisal and Reinforce of Engineering Structure, Development and Management of Real Estate

Career Plan

The graduates of this major mainly work in the field of civil engineering design, research, construction, education, management, investment and so on. The graduates can work in the infrastructure sector of some Design and Research Institute, Construction Units, Supervision Companies or Real Estate Companies after graduation, and also work on the relative vocation of civil engineering in the Municipal, Transportation, Finance or Education Departments.

Dormitory

Room facilities include Air conditioner, shower, desk and chair, wardrobe, bed, public kitchen, public washing machine, etc. The RMB 1000 of room deposit, 4 months' accommodation fee and RMB 1000 of prepaid electricity fee/student are required to pay before moving in. Water and internet fees are included.

2. A high school graduation certificate or above (need to submit high school certificate and transcripts).

3. Good health.

Note: Only after be admitted, students are required to pay 3000RMB as the enrollment deposit.
