Internship Hospitals for MBBS in Dalian Medical University

Intern Time & Duration
- The internship starts from the second semester of the 5th year with duration of about 1 year. For students of English-taught MBBS, the internship usually starts in early January and will last for 48 weeks.
- For students studying Chinese medium MBBS program, the beginning time of clinical internship is a little earlier than English-taught program, which is usually in late December (the previous year) .
- As for the duration of internship, the MBBS students of Chinese program always need to do an extra week than English program students, which mean their internship will last for 49 weeks.
Requirements in China & Abroad
- If you choose to do internship in China, you must pass HSK 4 before starting the internship. Moreover, the university will provide Chinese tutoring and organize Chinese Language Test to assure your language ability.
- If you want to do internship outside China, you can freely choose one hospital in your home country or any other countries. But please note that Dalian Medical University will do an qualification evaluation on your chosen hospital.
- Besides, after finishing the internship in hospital in other country, you should come back to Dalian Medical University in the second semester of the 6th year to complete your graduation dissertation and take the final examination of Theory Test and Clinical Evaluation.
