The First Way to Study in China for Free: Apply for CSC Scholarship
CSC, stands for China Scholarship Council, is a non-profit institution offers Chinese Government Scholarship under Chinese Ministry of Education. It not only provide funds for Chinese to study abroad, but also for international students to study in China.
7 programs of Chinese Government Scholarship:
1. Bilateral Program
Full and partial scholarship for undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars from countries, institutions, universities and organizations which have agreements with Chinese government.
2. Chinese University Program
Full scholarship for students from designated Chinese universities and certain provincial education office.
3. Great Wall Program
Full scholarship for general scholars and senior scholars from developing countries.
4. EU Program
Full scholarship for undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars from EU member countries.
5. AUN Program
Full scholarship for graduates from ASEAN member nations.
6. PIF Program
Full scholarship for students from Pacific island countries.
7. WMO Program
For undergraduates and graduates to conduct research in meteorology, hydrology, and water resources supervision and management in China.
Coverage of Chinese Government Scholarship:
Full Chinese Government Scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, stipend and insurance. While partial scholarship covers only one, two or three items.
