On September 9, the "Youth Flashing at the Platform - The Tour Report of Excellent Special Post Teachers in 2019" sponsored by the Ministry of Education was held in the Library of Beijing Normal University. Ren Youqun, Director of the Department of Teachers' Work of the Ministry of Education, Liu Jiantong, Inspector of the Department of Teachers' Work of the Ministry of Education, Li Xiaobing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Normal University, and the head of the Department of Teachers' Work of the Ministry of Education and the Student Work Department of the Party Committee of Beijing Normal University attended the meeting. Ren Youqun pointed out that the special post teacher program has effectively alleviated the shortage of rural teachers, played an important role in improving the overall quality of teachers, changing the education situation in poor areas, and promoting the balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education. He hoped that the majority of young college students would follow the example of excellent special post teachers, cherish the historical opportunities, maintain their passion for struggle, serve basic education, take root at the grass-roots level, and make due contributions to the new development of education.

On behalf of the school, Li Xiaobing welcomed and thanked the members of the report regiment. He pointed out that today is the fifth anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to Beijing Normal University and his important speech "Being a Good Teacher Satisfied by the Party and the People". Today, it is even more significant to hold a lecture on outstanding special post teachers in Beijing Normal University. He hoped that all teachers and students would learn the loyalty of excellent special post teachers to the educational cause of the motherland, their adherence to teachers' ethics, their pursuit of solid knowledge and their selfless love for students, internalize and externalize the standards of "four possessions" good teachers, and contribute their youth to the innovation and development of the educational cause.

Ten excellent special post teachers shared their personal experience and insights on working and living in rural schools since they became special post teachers. Teacher Cai Mingjing's innovative ideas of safety education, aesthetic education and network education; Teacher Wang Xing's story of taking root in the border areas and leading students to build up self-confidence; Teacher Yang Rui's persistence in accompanying seven children and leading them to their all-round development; Teacher Ba Shiyang and special post teachers work together to promote school reform and development and students' growth; Teacher Kediyamu Muhedan's shares family like warmth with students and parents of all nationalities; Mr. Zhang Jie and his wife as a special post teacher take root at the grass-roots level, dedicate their youth and harvest the sweetness of love together; Teacher Shen Kuiyuan cares about AIDS orphans, so that every child gets the same care; Teacher Yang Xiaoshuai wisely using modern educational technology to make teaching aids for children; the perseverance of Mr. Yuan Yanmin voluntarily extend the service period without salary after the expiration of teaching support; the perseverance of Mr. Shi Mingpeng to give up county job opportunities and lead students to love learning. At the end of the meeting, ten representatives of normal students presented flowers to the members of the delegation. Students have expressed that they should take excellent special post teachers as an example to learn their feelings of devotion to grass-roots education, courage to shoulder heavy burdens and perseverance of dedication. In the future, we should learn professional knowledge, lay a solid foundation of professional skills, devote ourselves to education, use our youth and wisdom, love and responsibility to realize our life value on the three-foot platform, and become a qualified "four-have" good teacher in the new era as soon as possible.
