How to Get Electronic JW201 Form and X1 Visa For Studying in China
The JW201 form is one of the important documents for international students who got a Chinese government scholarship to apply for an X1 visa to study in China for longer than 180 days. Starting from Jun 30, 2023, instead of mailing original JW201 forms to foreign students like before, Chinese universities are supposed to prepare electronic JW201 forms for admitted students, students can download digital copies of JW201 form.

After you got Chinese government scholarship, you can download it from studyinchina.edu.cn with your name, passport number, and email.

III: How to Verify Electronic JW201 Form?
You can do it here www.studyinchina.edu.cn. It should be in PDF format, you can upload it for verification.
IV: How to Get X1 Visa for Studying in China?
You need to apply for it in your local Chinese embassy or consulate, you can find the process on their website. You need to bring the admission letter and JW201 form(print them if you got digital copies) along with other documents when applying for it.
